19/01/2012 - In the context of Fitur, the President of the Málaga-Costa del Sol Tourist Board, Elías Bendodo, had a meeting with the mayors of the Axarquía region where he announced the development of a regional strategic plan. Mr Bendodo was satisfied that the 31 municipalities in Axarquía had attended Fitur with the Málaga-Costa del Sol Tourist Board, in the belief that ‘together we’ll obtain better results and improve promotion of the Costa del Sol Oriental-Axarquía brand – a region that’s sometimes been undeservedly neglected,’ he admitted.
